Celebrate Ireland!
Discover Balboa Park’s most popular cultural attraction: Tower After Hours™: Ireland. The San Diego Museum of Man (SDMoM) and the Irish community of San Diego invite you to experience the best of traditional Irish music, dance, and story-telling performed by our city’s top talent. Part of an ongoing series highlighting San Diego's diverse and vibrant ethnic mix, this colorful celebration of Irish culture will showcase an array of regional food and drinks provided by the local Irish pubs and restaurants.
Everyone is invited to enrich their cultural knowledge and share in the festive atmosphere. The celebration is vibrant, engaging, and open to attendees of all ages.

Located beneath the ornate 200-foot California Tower, the SDMoM is the city's only museum devoted to anthropology. With its Spanish colonial and mission style architecture, the landmark building was originally constructed for the 1915-16 Panama-California Exposition. Today, a key focus of SDMoM is to create and display dynamic and educational anthropological exhibits about people and places throughout the Americas and around the world.
